MY FAMILY PRESSURE (FINAL SAGA)

Daniel got to the man's house late at night the gate man already recognized 

him. 

 ‘ Hello Mr. Daniel, this one wey we see you this night ko, 

 Hope no problem? Asked the gate man in his Hausa ascent 

 Ahhhhh no problem my friend na oga talk say make I kon 

 See am oooooooo, my vehicle kon spoil for road

 Eyah sorry oooooooo

 Wait make I tell oga first.

The gate man left Daniel at the gate and went inside leaving his small radio 

still speaking loudly, then the speaker said something that almost made 

Daniel go off balance, the speaker said

 “My fellow brother do you feel frustrated and felt time is going?

 Are you about taking a step without the backing of God?

 Why not seat and take a rethink and let God make all things

 Beautiful in his time.

Daniel sat down and concluded that truly this is the beautiful time God has 

in plan for him and was not going to let this opportunity pass him by. The 

gate man came back and told him to go inside, the gate man then uttered 

another statement that Daniel did not even bother to think about

 Hmmmmm Mr Daniel see as you clean, you suppose no come today 

 Since night don come if I be you I go just turn back maybe 

 Something bad wan happen sef, please try to set take life easy

 And be patient……

 Daniel just laughed it off….thanks my friend and left

Daniel was welcomed as usual by the servants and ushered into a different 

room where the man is, with four other people already in the room. Daniel 

greeted and he was welcomed to their midst. Without much stories they 

all introduced themselves one after the other and gave Daniel assurance 

that he is safe and in the midst of great men. He was so happy that he began 

to tell them how frustrated he was and how poverty has made him an object 

of ridicule both in the community and especially his family and he was ready 

to do anything for him to be rich and fend for his family. The men were 

surprised at his outburst and his readiness to do anything was worthy. 

 You are welcome once again Daniel, we are sure you won’t regret 

 Joining us provided you obey and carry out all the instructions given, so he was given an handkerchief to wipe his face

 To indicate the end of struggling and sweat over life

 Daniel collected it and did as instructed.

Then they told him that he is now in the midst of  the elders fellowship and 

once he gets home he will see what the lord of the elders has done for him, 

but one more thing, you must not tell anyone what was done here because 

he has made a covenant with the ‘lord of the elders' he nodded his head like 

a jelly fish and was set to leave, his sister’s husband to be, called him back 

and told him not to forget the warning hence his life is at stake. Daniel 

became terrified the more but he was focused on the surprised he will see 

when he got home. He left that midnight and got home safe, his parents

scolded him for staying that long and suggested that he should have slept 

there and come back the next day. Daniel just apologized and went straight 

to his room for the surprise, his shout at what he saw attracted his parents 

to his room to see what the problem was, he quickly controlled himself and 

told them something else and they left his room. The surprise was seen in 

his cupboard a bag filled with money was seen in there, he thought of what 

to do then he decided to place a call to the man and explain what he saw, he 

did and he was told that the “lord of the elders” sent it to him in his Mercy 

and he should be grateful to him and there is no cause for any alarm. After

the call he was a bit relaxed but after sometime he was very okay and 

accepted that God really want to compensate him of the bad times, he knelt 

down and begin to worship God. Things were going on smoothly for Daniel 

as promised by the elders he was able to make a lot investment and got 

married to one of the pastor’s daughter in the church he attended. A year 

after the wedding the torment from the “Elders Fellowship” began he was 

told to renew his covenant if he still wants the riches and his life preserved, 

at first he fought with them claiming his riches were from God and he was 

not ready to make any sacrifice, then they reminded him of what he said 

with his mouth the day he was initiated and how he got money in his 

cupboard mysteriously, he became dumbfounded and agreed to renew the 

covenant and the sacrifice for the renewing is his Father. When he heard the 

last statement he became furious and charged at the man who introduced 

him to it but he was stopped by unseen forces of darkness. He eventually 

agreed on using his father after so much thought about his life, reputation 

and also on how his father was the main contributing factor on how he 

found himself in the mess. The day of the sacrifice finally came and 

the spirit of his father was called and stabbed in the cult room. Daniel's 

father woke up from the sleep with a shout holding his chest before he got 

to the hospital he was confirmed dead. Daniel got to his parents house and 

felt so sad about the incident and told others to accept it as the plan of God. 

He couldn’t stay there for long because of his conscience so he left on time 

after the burial was conducted. Things went back to how it used to be but 

Daniel’s wife who is from a Christian home knew something was not right 

about Daniel’s riches and his strange behavior atimes, she has questioned 

her husband times without number but he did not open up to her, she 

continued her prayers for herself and her husband, Adenike who is Daniel’s 

wife became pregnant after long time of waiting and this news brought joy 

to the family including Daniel, he never joked with his wife since the 

conception and hence provided all that is required for her convenience during 

the period of the pregnancy. The pregnancy did not stop Adenike's prayers, 

the elders called Daniel to remind him of his renewal and what the “lord of 

elders” wanted this time is the growing fetus in his wife’s womb, Daniel

almost ran mad at the requirement thinking of how long they have waited 

to have their own child and now the so called “lord of the elders” wants the 

blood. Never! Never! He repeated I will rather die than releasing my unborn 

child to you he shouted! He left the meeting inconclusively and rushed 

home to see if anything was wrong with his wife, he met her in good state 

and told her to pack her things that she will need to go outside the country 

for now claiming he wanted her to have a good treatment over there. The 

wife tried to ask him how he arrived at such decision but he did not give a 

listening ear at all. He was so restless all through the day since the wife will 

be leaving the second day he was trying to put things together in short time. 

The night preceeding the travelling was the same day for the sacrifice so he 

did not bother to sleep and stood with his wife during her midnight prayers 

which was unusual of him, then the spirit of Adenike was invoked and at the 

point of stabbing her in the stomach it was the same time she shouted in 

Jesus name I have prayed!!!!!!!! The name scattered the whole Temple and 

the evil spirit sent for the assignment became furious and came straight to 

kill Daniel as the replace of the sacrifice. Daniel suddenly felt down from 

where he was sitting and couldn’t talk again, the wife shouted for help so 

the maids came around and he was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital 

he began to confess to his wife about all he did and gave his wife the name 

he would love to give his child if he was alive. He began to vomit blood and 

before the doctor could get there he gave up the ghost! The wife was 

heartbroken and the incident hasten her delivery and she gave birth to two 

baby bouncing boys without any complications. Daniel’s mum and the entire 

family gave their lives to Jesus while the man that introduced Daniel to the 

cult became mad and every he owned was ruined.
