THE WAITING TIME

       This is just too much for me to take in any longer, why is my own so difficult for God to do why am I so unfortunate? Why is life so difficult for me, just a day to my weeding? A lot of questions needed to be answered but no one was giving Aduragbemi any reply.  Aduragbemi couldn’t stop sobbing………

Aduragbemi was a young vibrant Christian with a promising future, truly her name has been effective in her life because prayer has brought her thus far most days of her life has always been filled with battles which prayer had made a winner. At 39 years of age Aduragbemi is yet to have a husband which has become a ridicule to her both in her family and public, her youngest sister got married four years ago and she is the only one remaining. She had prayed and prayed but nothing was forth coming. Aduragbemi decided to change her church hoping to see changes. She actually got the change needed after the pastor hooked her up with a man in the electronic section. Their courtship started and everyone was expectant of the wedding invitation, the date was fixed and preparation began. Bro Folagbade who is the intending husband began to make an usual move and said he wanted sex with her before the consummation of their marriage which was the next day. Aduragbemi took it lightly and felt he was joking but to her surprise that is what he wanted else the wedding wouldn’t hold. She pleaded with Folagbade but all that fell into deaf ears. Unknown to her Folagbade was a pedophile and has been looking for the best time to do what he wanted and run off. Back to the present, after so much sobbing she took a bold step to inform her mum about the latest update and her decision is to call off the wedding and remain single instead of being married. After this statement she packed her things and sneaked out of the house without anyone’s notice. She went to an hotel switching off all her lines and cried until she was satisfied and slept off in the process. Then she had a dream, in the dream she saw herself dressed in flowing white apparel though with a stain which stopped her from sitting on a chair set for her, a man then appeared and told her she was dirty and needs to be washed clean before entering, the man washed the clothes and it was looking very clean as ever. Then the man pointed to her to open her Bible to Psalms Chapter 46 verse 1-6  which says

" God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Psalms 46:2

"Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;"

Psalms 46:3

"Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah."

Psalms 46:4

"There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High."

Psalms 46:5

"God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early."

My daughter wipe away your tears because your shame will be replaced with singing, rise up because I have prepared a place for and I will help you. She woke up smiling trying to remember the dream instead she began to sing

She kept on singing the song over and over again until her strength couldn’t carry her again. After a month she started life again and confident about God’s promise for her will definitely be fulfilled in no time different messages was received from different men who are well to do and ready to have her as a wife at first she was shocked and scared of all the proposals coming to her, so she prayed about them all and God chose for her. 

My dear reader what is that phase you are going through 

And it looks like all hope is gone, brace up dear 

God has a better plan for you.

Don’t push yourself to fit in God will single handedly  take you where you belong

Remember you are not an option but a necessity!
